It was another spectacular day in Joshua Tree National Park yesterday at Hidden Valley and Barker Dam. Although it hasn’t snowed yet, it was really cold with temperature of only 42 in the day and a low of 24 a night – Brrrrr! We started out the day at The J.T. Saloon for the best blackened Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos in town and washed it down with a Lagunitas IPA. They, my brother and three nieces, headed into the Park to hike Hidden Valley and Barker Dam one mile loops. Once inside Barker Dam, we also checked out the Native American Petroglyphs at the end of the trail. We ended the night at Pappy & Harriet’s Saloon in Pioneertown for BBQ. Another great trip to Joshua Tree!
